Cambridge Turf Bar the scene of an Aggravated Robbery.

At about 9.30am this morning, the Cambridge Turf Bar on Commerce Street Cambridge was targeted by a lone male offender armed with a firearm.

The offender has entered the premise and demanded cash from staff before running off down Commerce Street towards Milicich Street.

The offender is described as a male Maori wearing a dark coloured hoodie top covering his head, dark coloured shorts, covered footwear, and was carrying a dark coloured bag.

The firearm is described as a cut down shotgun.

Police want to hear from anyone that was in the area of the Turf Bar between 9 - 9.30am this morning, who saw a male fitting this description.
