New images released in Lois Tolley investigation

"New images released in Operation Archer - Lois Tolley investigation"

CCTV footage and images of two more vehicles wanted in relation to Operation Archer – the killing of Upper Hutt woman Lois Tolley – have screened on tonight’s episode of Police Ten 7.

There is a still a dedicated, professional team working hard on the case and determined to find those responsible, to help bring those people to account and get a result for Ms Tolley’s family.

“We urge anyone who may recognise the vehicles shown tonight on the show, or those who are in the CCTV footage, to contact the Operation Archer team on 04 527 2300,” says Detective Senior Sergeant Glen Barnett.

The vehicles of interest are a silver Mazda 6, and a silver Nissan Stagea.

These vehicles have been tracked from Stokes Valley to the Upper Hutt area on the night Ms Tolley was killed.

CCTV footage also shows four males seen leaving Ms Tolley’s Ward St address on the night of December 9, including one male who hung back from the group.

He is reported to have been visibly distressed, and to have called out to the others in remorse.

Police believe these males will have talked to someone about what they had done, and that someone out there will have information on who was involved.

“Your calls will be treated in confidence, and any information – no matter how small – will be welcomed by in the investigating team,” Mr Barnett says.

Police are still seeking information on two blue vehicles seen in the area, a blue sedan and a blue hatchback.

One of these vehicles is possibly a Subaru WRX.

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact the Operation Archer team on 04 527 2300.

Information can also be provided via the Police Ten 7 show or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
