Road closed - State Highway 7

Road closed - State Highway 7 - Mouse Point Road - Canterbury

State Highway 7, also known as Mouse Point Road or 'the inland route', at Mount Culverden will be closed for approximately two hours from around 10am today.

It is to enable heavy lifting equipment to get in to help right a heavy truck which went off the road earlier this morning.

Motorists are asked to delay travel in the area if possible.

The initial collision was around 3.30am, between Hanmer Springs Road and Leslie Hills Road, and involved two heavy truck units.

There were no injuries.
