Wellington Police are looking for missing 79-year-old Marion Twitchet.
Mrs Twitchet was reported missing around 2:25pm today and was last seen in Kilbirnie around Kilbirnie Crescent / Henry Street area.
She was last seen wearing a red fleece jumper and a red and white skirt.
Mrs Twitchet suffers from dementia and may have become lost and confused.
Police urge anyone who may have seen her to call 111.
