"Serious crash in Silverdale"

Police are in attendance at a serious crash in Silverdale.

A car has driven into a bollard on Silverdale Street at around 3.50pm.

The driver of the vehicle has been transported to North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.

There are currently no other reports of injuries and the road remains open.

The Serious Crash Unit is attending the incident.
