Whangarei Heads had a decent amount of surf likely
contributing to the higher number of rescues. Patrols stayed
open a bit longer as many rescues happened towards the end
of the day.
At Ruakaka beach a 50 y/o male had a
seizure on beach. Ambulance responded and transported man to
hospital.
At Orewa beach 16 y/o male dislocated his
shoulder. Ambulance attended and reset shoulder and he left
on his own.
