Child hit by vehicle in Otara

Police are currently at the scene of an incident in Ashton Ave, Otara.

A child has reportedly been hit by a vehicle and is in a serious condition.

Police received the report after 3pm and are still currently on scene.

The Serious Crash Unit will examine the scene.

Ashton Ave is currently closed between Otara Road and Natalie Place.

There is no further information at this stage.
