Serious crash - Takanini
Police are in attendance at a serious crash between two vehicles on Mill Road, Takanini.
The incident occurred between Popes Road and Airfield Road before 3.50pm.
One person has sustained serious injuries in the crash and is being taken to hospital.
Mill Road is currently closed between Popes Road and Airfield Road while the Serious Crash Unit examines the scene.
Traffic is being diverted through Popes Road and Police advise motorists to avoid the area if possible.
Delays are expected while the scene is examined and we appreciate motorists’ cooperation during the evening commute.
