"Serious crash, Maramarua Forest"

Police is responding to a serious crash on Okaeria Road, Maramarua Forest.

The single-vehicle crash was reported about 12:45pm.

Early indications are a vehicle has rolled and a person is trapped.

Diversions are in place at the intersection of State Highway 2 and Okaeria Road, and the intersection of Okaeria and Kopuku Roads.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
