Te Puke Triple Fatality Victims Funeral Today

Funerals for two of the teenage girls killed in the triple fatality car crash will be held today.

Three teenage girls, Liz Maguire aged 14 of Ohope, Nickie Chapman aged 16 of Whakatane, and Rebecca Salisbury aged 16 of Auckland

The girls were killed on Monday on State Highway Two at Pongakawa near Te Puke when their Mini car turned in front on a truck

Liz Maguire’s funeral will be held on the sand of Ohope Beach this morning near the holiday park which her parents own.

Nickie Chapman’s funeral will take place in Whakatane’s Trident School Hall this afternoon.
