Condition of Shot Man Still Unknown

There is still no word on the condition
of a man shot by police during a confrontation on Auckland’s
North Shore.
Police have shot a knife wielding man at the
Auckland North Shore suburb of Greenhithe.
Police were
called to a residential address in Greenhithe after
receiving a complaint that a man was threatening another man
with a knife.
The man was shot by police after
negotiations failed to defuse the situation.
The Police
have officially stated officers were called to a
confrontation, they tried to negotiate with the man, this
was unsuccessful. A shot has been fired and a man has been
taken to hospital.
There is still no word on the man’s
condition.
