The killers of 25 year old Angelina Edwards were sentenced today in the Auckland High Court.

The “principle offender, Moana Filimoehala, has been sentenced to 13 years imprisonment for the death of the mentally ill woman in south Auckland’s Mangere suburb.

Angelina Edwards died after suffering peritonitis following repeated beatings, virtual enslavement, neglect and food deprivation at the home of Filimoehala and that of her husband.
