A nose to tail accident involving five
APEC security cars has ended in a New Zealand Army officer
being stood down from duties.
The accident occurred during
an official driver training exercise.
The Army officer was
to be a driver for the Chinese delegation, but has been
assigned to other duties.
Officially wet weather has been
blamed for the accident. All five vehicles damaged in the
accident have been repaired and are fully restored to take
officials around the
city.
