An arrest has been made relating to the death of a south
Auckland women from last year.
Lien Nguyen, 35, a money
lender, was found strangled in her home in Mangere in May
last year.
A 39-year-old man was today arrested and
charged with Lien Nguyen's death.
Papakura based detective
senior sergeant, Alan Shearer, says the investigation was
slow to bring an arrest result because of difficulties
working with the Vietnamese community, many of whom speak
English as a second language.
No one else is being sought
in relation to the
homicide.
