Auckland City Employment Forum |
||
Auckland City Council - City Scene
A 'Forum on Employment' to be held this Wednesday, October 20, is welcomed by the Local Employment Co-ordinator Sandi Morrison who will chair the forum.
She hopes there will be a good attendance as there are too few opportunities to consider the future of work in Auckland. "We need a whole cross section of people to think closely about building new solutions - central and local government, employers and community agencies."
A panel discussion will include representatives of political parties, employer and business groups and there will be time set aside for comment and questions.
The venue for the
forum is the Pioneer Women's Ellen Melville Hall on the
corner of Freyberg Place and High Street, from 3.45pm -
6.00pm. Admission is free.
