Eforce membership quadruples in first week of campaign
Membership of the Eforce consumer portal is now over 16,000 and growing at a rate of 1500 per day.
The viral marketing campaign, which is giving away an iMac every day for 100 days and a VW Beetle, has attracted 12,000 new members its first eight days. The campaign began on 12 April.
Eforce Creative Director Paul Fairbairn says the team is "extremely happy with the level of response."
Mr Fairbairn notes that the viral nature of the campaign has been a key to its success. "So far most new members have two or three entries in the iMac draw. This tells us that the viral 'Tell a Friend' concept is making a big impact.
"We're demonstrating the power internet has to communicate quickly and cheaply, which is, of course, one of the core principles of Eforce."
All winners names are published on the website, with each day's new winner posted live at 8:30 PM.
All new members who join Eforce between now and 20 July are automatically entered into a daily draw to win one of 100 Apple iMac computers. As a finale to the 100 day promotion, a new cybergreen VW Beetle will be given away on 21 July.
