Employers Pleased At Action On ACC Double Charging

ACC Minister Michael Cullen is doing the right thing in fixing ACC double charging, says New Zealand Employers' Federation chief executive Anne Knowles.

"A number of employers were hit by double premiums, some amounting to tens of thousands of dollars, as a result of a change in administration of ACC payments.

"Now the Minister has stated that ACC will look at the circumstances of each affected employer and deal with it on a case by case basis, those employers can have confidence that their concerns will be dealt with.

"The Minister's responsiveness to valid concerns raised by the business community is to be commended," Ms Knowles said.
