Fares On Tranz Scenic’s Overlander And Northerner

Press Release

2 November 2001

For immediate release

Special Fares On Tranz Scenic’s Overlander And Northerner

Christmas has come early for travellers between Wellington and Auckland with the special fare promotion Tranz Scenic are offering at the moment.

Adults and children can travel between 1 November and 8 December on the Overlander and pay only $60 or on The Northerner for only $54. Tranz Scenic Marketing Manager Graeme Mowday says

“This offer is less than half our standard fare and represents excellent value for money. It’s also why the offer is only available until December 8 and subject to seats being available.

People who take us up on the Overlander offer get to experience the great scenery of the Central North Island and for those who take The Northerner, the added bonus is that they save a nights accommodation and arrive in the morning ready to enjoy their destination.”

Special refund and reissue conditions apply to this offer.
