Air NZ Appoints New Manager Of Marketing

AIR NEW ZEALAND APPOINTS NEW MANAGER OF MARKETING

Air New Zealand today announced the appointment of Michele Teague as its new Manager of Marketing.

Michele brings a wealth of senior management experience to the role. Her previous positions have included Director of Marketing for Woolworths, Group Account Director for the advertising agency Mattingly & Partners and most recently, as General Manager New Business for Pacific Retail Group. This followed three years as the group's General Manager Sales & Marketing.

Ed Sims, Vice President Marketing & Alliances described Michele's appointment as a "valuable strengthening of the airline's marketing team".

He added: "She is a proven professional both in her specialist field and also in general management. Aside from her broad range of marketing skills and also has depth of experience in advertising and brand management, sponsorship and direct marketing. We are delighted to welcome Michele. She will add a dynamic new approach to the repositioning of one of New Zealand's most iconic brands."

Michele begins her new role on March 31.
