'TeleCon' unveiled

'TeleCon' unveiled Monday, September 8th

The 'TeleCon' portal has a vision to educate and inform the New Zealand public about the substandard business practices of Telecom New Zealand LTD.

'TeleCon' was prompted for development shortly after the release of Telecom's proposed residential DSL plans. A group of angered industry leaders and concerned public united with the resulting outcome of 'TeleCon'

'TeleCon' features news, user written articles, and a specifically developed Take Action Network, that is designed to bring about positive change. 'TeleCon' forums are a buzzing community where users can discuss all the latest issues.

Des Clayton from 'TeleCon' comments that while the challenge of tackling the monster monopoly is one that will be very difficult, he hopes to see some positive change arise. "Telecom have the monopoly, and have exploited their undisturbed position for too long" - "they (Telecom) have held the country to ransom, and as a result we are seeing New Zealand fall behind other OECD countries"

'TeleCon' is live from 1am Monday, September 8th at www.telecon.co.nz
