Renaissance Brands signs distribution agreement with NetScreen

AUCKLAND – 22 September 2003 – Renaissance Brands announced today that it has signed an agreement with NetScreen Technologies to market NetScreen’s full line of network security products and services in New Zealand.

Mark Dasent, General Manager of Renaissance Brands, is very excited about the agreement. “We have a great deal of expertise and experience in this market now, and having NetScreen will bolster our ability to provide a more complete offering of security products and solutions, especially at the higher end of the market.”

“NetScreen has already established a strong foothold in the high-end, telco/carrier market segment and taken a leading market position in Asia for high-end security systems,“ said Hansen Chang, Vice President of Asia Pacific Sales at NetScreen,

“Renaissance Brands has a strong and active reseller network. Our relationship with Renaissance will enable us to further our presence and extend our distribution reach to the enterprise and SOHO market in New Zealand,” Chang continued.

NetScreen provides an extensive array of network security appliances and systems that provide firewall, virtual private network (VPN), denial of service protection, and intrusion prevention functionality. These, combined with key partner solutions, provide customers with comprehensive security that spans from the core to the edge of enterprise and carrier networks.
