“Our policy work programme this year is about how to make New Zealanders considerably better off” say the nation’s Chambers of Commerce.

Meeting at their Annual Conference in Hamilton today, the Chambers have released a further economic policy blueprint, dealing with the vital importance of education and skills training to New Zealand’s economic well being. The key importance and value of immigrants to our economy is also emphasised by the Chambers in their policy release today.

“This stuff is vitally important to members of the Chambers of Commerce up and down the country. It is our businesses that will need to create the economic growth we all need”, said Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce CEO Philip Lewin.
