Network PR Wellington is delighted to announce the appointment of two new staff members to join its award winning team.

Helen Flannery

Helen Flannery has been appointed as a Senior Consultant. Over the past 16 years she has had extensive communications management experience with major corporates such as Westpac, ECNZ, Tower and Telecom.

Helen's areas of expertise include sponsorship management and cause related marketing.

Network PR also welcomes Victoria Rainbow as Account Manager, after transferring from Network PR Auckland. With an array of skills in creative event management and innovative brand marketing, she has worked with high profile consumer brands such as Wattie's, Coca-Cola and New Zealand Sugar.

Victoria has a Bachelor of Communication Studies from Auckland University of Technology majoring in Public Relations.

Executive Director Geoff Henley says, "I'm very excited with our two new appointments, as they will further strengthen our talented team and broaden the range of services on offer to our clients."

Sky City : Auckland Convention Centre Cost Jumps By A Fifth

SkyCity Entertainment Group, the casino and hotel operator, is in talks with the government on how to fund the increased cost of as much as $130 million to build an international convention centre in downtown Auckland, with further gambling concessions ruled out. The Auckland-based company has increased its estimate to build the centre to between $470 million and $530 million as the construction boom across the country drives up building costs and design changes add to the bill.

Statistics: Current Account Deficit Widens
