Limited and Canterbury Meat Packers have agreed to a further
extension of the due diligence period in relation to the
Waitotara lamb plant from 30 January 2004 until 20 February
2004.
Negotiations continue to advance in a positive manner however there are still issues that require further time to be resolved.
These discussions continue in a positive vein and we anticipate having negotiations concluded before 20 February 2004.

Sky City : Auckland Convention Centre Cost Jumps By A Fifth
SkyCity Entertainment Group, the casino and hotel operator, is in talks with the government on how to fund the increased cost of as much as $130 million to build an international convention centre in downtown Auckland, with further gambling concessions ruled out. The Auckland-based company has increased its estimate to build the centre to between $470 million and $530 million as the construction boom across the country drives up building costs and design changes add to the bill.
