Canon New Zealand has appointed Sarah Slawson to the role of Marketing Coordinator for Canon’s Consumer Imaging Products Group.

Sarah was previously Trade Marketing Assistant for DB Breweries.

Sarah will co-ordinate Canon’s sponsorship commitments and will liaise closely with Canon’s advertising and public relations agencies for Canon’s consumer imaging products, including digital and analogue cameras, lenses, digital videos, printers and binoculars.

SkyCity Entertainment Group, the casino and hotel operator, is in talks with the government on how to fund the increased cost of as much as $130 million to build an international convention centre in downtown Auckland, with further gambling concessions ruled out.
