Release Date For Contact Energy Half Year Results

Contact Energy Limited intends to release its unaudited results for the six months ended 31 March 2004 and announce its interim dividend on 29 April 2004.

The record date for the payment of the interim dividend will be 14 May. Contact shareholders who wish to participate in the company’s share top-up plan and receive shares in lieu of dividends (and who have not already registered) need to have registered their intention by 29 April 2004.
