Fairfax Magazines Appoints Group Sales Manager

Fairfax Magazines has appointed Gail Wilson-Waring as group sales manager for its Lifestyle titles division including NZ House & Garden, Cuisine, TV Guide, NZ Gardener, onHoliday and FHM. She will be responsible for the sales team’s performance and client relationships.

Gail’s appointment follows significant growth within Fairfax Magazines Lifestyle titles division and an internal promotion.

Gail has been the Auckland manager at the Radio Bureau for the past two years. Prior to that, she was the associate sales director at ACP Media and has also held senior positions at Pacific Magazines and at TVNZ.

Sky City : Auckland Convention Centre Cost Jumps By A Fifth

SkyCity Entertainment Group, the casino and hotel operator, is in talks with the government on how to fund the increased cost of as much as $130 million to build an international convention centre in downtown Auckland, with further gambling concessions ruled out.
