Appointment – General Manager, Operations

I am pleased to announce that Dan Blackbourn has been appointed General Manager, Operations, for the APN New Zealand Regional Newspapers Group.

This is a key new role, with overall responsibility for our regional printing operations, which comprise eight web and sheetfed print sites throughout New Zealand.

Dan is currently Group Pre-press and Print Scheduling Manager for Fairfax New Zealand, and prior to that was Operations Manager for the Dominion Post.

In this new role, Dan will be charged with the operational efficiency and quality initiatives at the print sites, as well as overseeing our investments in press up-grades and ensuring consistent improvement in service standards to the publishers and external customers.

His start date is July 20. The role is based in Hawke’s Bay.

I am sure you will join me in welcoming Dan to the Regionals team.

Regards Craig Marsh Chief Operating Officer APN Newspapers NZ Ltd - Regionals
