Fonterra Shareholders' Council By-Election In Ward 21 - Tasman Marlborough Nominations Open

Nominations open on Tuesday, 15 June for a by-election in Ward 21 (Tasman Marlborough) of the Fonterra Shareholders' Council.

The position has become vacant as current councillor Rod O'Beirne has sold his dairy farm.

Nominations must be received by the Returning Officer by 12 noon on Wednesday 30 June 2004. Any shareholder is eligible to stand in the ward, provided they are nominated by two shareholders who supply milk in the ward.

Warwick Lampp from http://www.electionz.com has been appointed as the Returning Officer and will provide Nomination forms and Candidate Information Packs.

Voting will be from 16 July to 6 August.
