ACP Media appoints DDB as group media agency

ACP Media announced today that it has appointed DDB as the media agency for the New Zealand operation.

ACP Media CEO Heith Mackay-Cruise said the appointment of DDB was an important strategic decision that would further strengthen the company’s position in New Zealand. DDB will have media responsibility (both strategic planning and buying) for the ACP Media consumer division and the Trader Group.

“We wanted to align ourselves with a leading media agency that will assist ACP Media in meeting our aim of becoming New Zealand’s leading media company. We chose DDB because they impressed us with their expertise in strategic planning, media prowess and buying capabilities,” said Mr Mackay-Cruise.

“They have a track record of creating innovative and effective campaigns that draw on their sharp insights into consumer behaviour and attitudes.”

“We’re thrilled to be working with ACP Media. It is already New Zealand’s leading magazine publisher with a wide range of iconic titles – from Woman’s Day and Home & Entertaining to Metro and Auto Trader. ACP Media is a dynamic company with exciting plans for the future and we are looking forward to being a part of it,” Kath Watson DDB Group Media Director says.

The ACP Media account is worth approximately $NZ3-5 million.
