Westpac Phone Assist: union members ratify Collective Agreement
Finsec’s members at Westpac Phone Assist call centres in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch have voted to ratify a new collective agreement.
Following mediation talks between Westpac and Finsec, the union put a negotiated position to its Phone Assist members, which has been accepted by a 60% majority.
The ratified agreement will see weekly hours brought down from 40 a week to 37.5 a week, over a five year period, and phasing in of fixed shifts.
