PeopleSoft Launches Complete Solution for Small and Midsize Businesses in New Zealand and Australia
New Zealand and Australia’s small and midsize businesses (SMBs) will now be able to buy, install and implement PeopleSoft faster, and at a fixed cost, with the launch of PeopleSoft® EnterpriseOne Rapid Start. Rapid Start solutions are a pre-configured, pre-integrated package of PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne applications, hardware, consulting and education services designed to address the most common and critical business needs of growing enterprises, deliver full functionality and flexibility, and be deployed quickly.

Rapid Start solutions decrease the time it takes to get companies up and running by providing preconfigured business processes and accelerated implementation techniques that reduce complexity and risk. These processes and methodologies have been created based on the experience of PeopleSoft in designing and delivering solutions to small and midsize firms around the world over the last 26 years. Implementations can take place in as little as 90 days.

Increasingly they are competing on a global scale, or finding themselves as part of a complex supply chain, so affordability, flexibility and best practice is what they need. Rapid Start solutions deliver on these requirements,” adds Webster.
This initial release of Rapid Start solutions is available on IBM eServer iSeries and Windows platforms. Rapid Start solutions will be available directly from PeopleSoft and through the PeopleSoft Business Partner channel.

A foundation of preconfigured PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne software that includes pre-defined business processes, user roles, technical setup and rapid installation.
Pre-engineered hardware configurations for either IBM iSeries or Intel-based servers.
PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne Technology Foundation – a complete bundle of open-standards infrastructure software that includes a web application server, portal, database and security and technology tools.
Implementation Services to accelerate implementations and address unique system needs.
On-site training to effectively get users up to speed and productive as quickly as possible.
PeopleSoft will offer three Rapid Start Solutions targeted to support the needs of Manufacturing, Wholesale Distribution and General Business. Solution bundles are financials, distribution and manufacturing.
