The Wairarapa Province of Federated Farmers of New Zealand (Inc) would like to remind farmers through the media that it has a dedicated freephone 0800 number to take calls from Wairarapa farmers needing help in the aftermath of flooding.

The phone number is 0800 FFLOOD (0800 335 663).

Any farmers needing help of any kind in relation to the August floods are encouraged to call this number.

Sky City : Auckland Convention Centre Cost Jumps By A Fifth

SkyCity Entertainment Group, the casino and hotel operator, is in talks with the government on how to fund the increased cost of as much as $130 million to build an international convention centre in downtown Auckland, with further gambling concessions ruled out.
