Statement following Commerce Commission Announcement
In light of the recent announcement from the Commerce Commission regarding the Air New Zealand and Qantas Tony Moffatt Commercial Director from House of Travel has issued the following statement:
Tony Moffatt Commercial Director for House of Travel said it had always been House of Travel's desire that the Commerce Commission decision reflect the feedback being received from consumers.
"Regardless of what way the decision went House of Travel always maintained that it was vital that customers continued to get access to competitive airfare prices. The research we conducted before we launched our new online booking website echoed this same feeling and there is no doubt having a choice of airlines assists this."
