MPA Appoints Neville Wong as Sales and Purchasing Administrator

WELLINGTON - September 29, 2004 - MPA, a New Zealand value added IT distributor of software and hardware, has appointed Neville Wong as its Sales and Purchasing Administrator.

In this role, Neville manages the purchasing process for MPA; from sales orders to quality control to dispatching solutions to customers. Neville also designs operations that ensure processes are of a high quality and result in efficient delivery.

Neville is also responsible for customer entry control and acts as an advisory to sales staff on administration, supply and equipment.

Neville comes to MPA with an extensive background in importing. He has held purchasing and inventory control roles with Placemakers and Farmers.
He holds a diploma in business from Unitec.

Sky City : Auckland Convention Centre Cost Jumps By A Fifth

SkyCity Entertainment Group, the casino and hotel operator, is in talks with the government on how to fund the increased cost of as much as $130 million to build an international convention centre in downtown Auckland, with further gambling concessions ruled out.
