Commission receives clearance application from B&D Doors
The Commerce Commission has received an application from B&D Doors (New Zealand) Limited seeking clearance to acquire 100 percent of the shares in Dominator International Limited.
Both companies are involved in the manufacture and distribution of garage doors and garage door openers in New Zealand.
B&D trades under the brand names B&D and Garador (garage doors), and ATA (garage door openers). Dominator International trades under the brand name Dominator.
In considering the application, the Commission’s role is to determine whether the proposed acquisition has the effect of substantially lessening competition in a market.
A public version of the application will shortly be available on the Commission’s website www.comcom.govt.nz under Adjudication.
