Unlisted today welcomes EastPack Limited to the trading facility. EastPack Limited Transactor Shares will be quoted under the security trading code EASTTRAN, and Investor Shares under the security trading code EASTINVST as of Monday 18 October 2004.

Please note that EastPack Limited (formerly known as Rangitaiki Fruit Packers Ltd) is structured as a Co-operative, hence Transactor Shares can only be purchased by growers supplying EastPack facilities, and Investor Shares can only be held by Transactor shareholders or approved key staff.

Sky City : Auckland Convention Centre Cost Jumps By A Fifth

SkyCity Entertainment Group, the casino and hotel operator, is in talks with the government on how to fund the increased cost of as much as $130 million to build an international convention centre in downtown Auckland, with further gambling concessions ruled out. The Auckland-based company has increased its estimate to build the centre to between $470 million and $530 million as the construction boom across the country drives up building costs and design changes add to the bill.
