Student Job Search Celebrates The Top 10 Employers In Canterbury

Student Job Search (SJS) has ranked the employers that use the free service and have found a “top ten”.

“Employers were rated on a number of criteria ranging from rate of pay, work place environment, student feedback, length of time using SJS and even training provided,” states Regional Manager, Lupe Leota.

Business Development Manager, Pete Martin explains, “SJS are recognising and celebrating the contribution of these employers by advertising their success through its offices, newsletter, trade association memberships and tertiary institution networks”.

Sky City : Auckland Convention Centre Cost Jumps By A Fifth

SkyCity Entertainment Group, the casino and hotel operator, is in talks with the government on how to fund the increased cost of as much as $130 million to build an international convention centre in downtown Auckland, with further gambling concessions ruled out. The Auckland-based company has increased its estimate to build the centre to between $470 million and $530 million as the construction boom across the country drives up building costs and design changes add to the bill.
