Quality Bakers unveils new look management line up

NEW APPOINTMENTS RELEASE
November 22, 2004

Quality Bakers, New Zealand's leading Baked Foods company and manufacturer of such well-loved brands as Nature's Fresh, Molenberg, Vogels, Irvines and Ernest Adams, has announced a new look management team under the leadership of recently appointed Managing Director, Alison Pedersen.

Scott Wright, previously Marketing Manager for bread, broadens his responsibilities as Marketing Director for the business while the sales function is headed up by Nigel Murray-Brown, a 20 plus year veteran of the FMCG sector.

Phil Hand extends his responsibilities from a regional operations role to National Operations and Supply Chain Director and Ross Barnhill, a 21 year Goodman Fielder veteran, has been appointed Finance Director. A new role, General Manager Ernest Adams, has been filled by Chris Buddle who brings extensive sales and marketing experience to the Ernest Adams business.

Sky City : Auckland Convention Centre Cost Jumps By A Fifth

SkyCity Entertainment Group, the casino and hotel operator, is in talks with the government on how to fund the increased cost of as much as $130 million to build an international convention centre in downtown Auckland, with further gambling concessions ruled out.
