Takeovers Panel decides to take no action
on Northland Port Corporation share purchase

Ports of Auckland Chairman Neville Darrow welcomed today's Takeovers Panel decision to take no further action in respect of complaints against the Company's proposed purchase of Northland Port Corporation shares.

Earlier this week the Northland Regional Council decided in principle to sell the Company a 19.9% stake in Northland Port Corporation.

Sky City : Auckland Convention Centre Cost Jumps By A Fifth

SkyCity Entertainment Group, the casino and hotel operator, is in talks with the government on how to fund the increased cost of as much as $130 million to build an international convention centre in downtown Auckland, with further gambling concessions ruled out.
