Got Stubbies And Jandals? L&P Needs Real Kiwi Talent - Be World Famous In New Zealand

If you and your mates have always coveted those bbq pics of your dad in stubbies and your mum with the original mullet ‘do, you and your best mate could be the perfect faces for L&P’s new T.V. commercial.

L&P is looking for special ‘80’s style guys or gals – preferably with their own stubbies and jandals – to star in its new TV commercial, to be filmed in Auckland at the end of January.

If you and your mates think you have ‘the look’ L&P is after, email a pic of yourselves in your best kiwi 80’s gear to: worldfamous@xtra.co.nz. [Casting crew need to see your own hair and body shape, so easy on the wigs and makeup].

Future L&P tv ad stars need to include with their pic name and address details, a daytime contact number and confirmation of availability to make the film shoot at the end of January [at their own cost].

Supported by B-Net, [listen to BFM, Active, RDU, Radio One, Most or Generator stations for updates] the L&P Talent competition closes midnight Friday 7 January 2005. Winners will be notified week starting Monday 10 January 2005.

Sky City : Auckland Convention Centre Cost Jumps By A Fifth

SkyCity Entertainment Group, the casino and hotel operator, is in talks with the government on how to fund the increased cost of as much as $130 million to build an international convention centre in downtown Auckland, with further gambling concessions ruled out.
