Newmans Coach Lines, the premium brand of The InterCity Group (NZ) Ltd is now Qualmark® ‘Endorsed’, the highest Qualmark classification for tourism transport businesses. Qualmark is New Zealand’s official tourism mark of quality. All transportation, accommodation and tourism businesses listed on the Qualmark website carry the Qualmark® logo which signifies their independent assessment as professional and trustworthy - and that the consumer can buy with confidence.

“It is important to overseas visitors that our service has the stamp of approval from an independent rating organisation, said Malcolm Johns, CEO for the InterCity Group. “We are proud that Qualmark has ‘Endorsed’ Newmans Coach Lines. This endorsement is Qualmarks highest rating for tourism transport products”, continued Johns.

“The international travel trade and consumer will look for independent assurance when booking a product or service. Our listing on the Qualmark® website provides this! As thirty per cent of our passengers come from overseas, this highly credible endorsement is most important to our international and domestic business”, said Johns.
