Sail NZ's Lion New Zealand is Staring In


Starts tonight, Monday 8th August at 7.30pm on TV One

This is no game, this is for real. Twelve novice sailors, selected from 48 raw recruits, train for and then participate in a real ocean race, the 50th Auckland to Suva yacht race. Ordinary New Zealanders on an extraordinary adventure, it will take great mental and physical endurance, and all the attitude, commitment and guts they can muster to sail New Zealand legend Sir Peter Blake's yacht.

Lion New Zealand will be back starring in her usual role of taking passengers between Auckland and the Bay of Islands or return three times per week starting the 1st of October. Please be in contact for further detail on Lion New Zealand's programme or any of the other exciting Sail NZ product.
