Cadmus Underwrites Devonport Food and Wine Festival And Provides EFTPOS

Auckland, 8 November 2005 – Cadmus Technology, New Zealand’s leading exporter of payment solutions, today announced that it will support the 17th annual Devonport Food and Wine Festival in association with Columbard by underwriting the event, and will also provide its mobile EFTPOS facilities so people can easily pay for food and drinks.

The Devonport Food and Wine Festival (18th & 19th February 2006) promises to exceed all previous occasions through new sponsors, participants and entertainment. As a key annual fundraising event for Devonport Rotary, all proceeds go to noteworthy New Zealand charity and community organizations.

Gavin Busch, Current President of the Devonport Rotary Club, welcomes Cadmus’ support. “The Devonport Food and Wine Festival is one of the major events on the Auckland summer calendar, with the support of companies such as Cadmus Rotary looks forward to continuing to provide assistance to charities and organizations in the greater Auckland area. Since 1990 when Devonport Rotary has been running the Festival, over $1.5 million has been given to major beneficiaries including the Devonport Library, North Shore Hospice and the Auckland City Mission”.

Ian Bailey, Managing Director of Cadmus Technology, says that the company is delighted to be supporting such an iconic Auckland event, particularly as proceeds go to such worthwhile causes in the community.

“Cadmus is proud to be involved as a sponsor underwriting the Festival to ensure it continues to be a highlight of the year for all Aucklander’s, and also allow Rotary to carry on its good work in the wider community.” says Bailey.

Bailey says that Cadmus will also provide retailers and stall holders at the Festival with the company’s popular CMO5 mobile EFTPOS terminals which enable payment transactions at such events where people can easily and reliably use their cards instead of cash.
