FCB wins Prime Television advertising account, underlining strong year of new business growth

‘Bold creative and strategy’ critical in competitive pitch

AUCKLAND, 10 November 2005 – FCB New Zealand has secured the advertising account for Prime Television following a competitive pitch. The new business is the latest in a succession of account wins for the full service agency in 2005 including Pascoes and Prouds, Ministry of Education, Statistics New Zealand, Angus & Robertson, and NZ Steel.

According to Martine Buchter, Communications Manager, Prime Television (NZ) Ltd, “FCB put forward a bold and innovative integrated strategy that will see our creative and media efforts work closely to achieve our short and long term goals. We congratulate the entire team on their appointment,” she said.

James Mok, Creative Director at FCB said, “Prime is one of the fastest growing networks in New Zealand’s highly competitive television market. FCB is committed to developing the personality of the Prime brand which will set the network further apart from its competitors.”

“We are delighted with the win, which was secured in a highly competitive pitch with other agencies. Critical to our success has been FCB’s outstanding creative and strategy coupled with the cultural insights gained through our unique social marketing and semiotic capability,” said Mr Mok.
