Commencement Of Trading On Asx

The Board of Zedex Minerals Limited (“Zedex”) is pleased to advise that the company has been admitted to the official list of the ASX. Trading in Zedex securities on the ASX will commence from 11:30am Sydney time, Tuesday 23 May 2006 under the ASX code ZDX for ordinary shares and ZDXO for options.

As part of the listing process the Company raised A$5,000,000. Shares were offered at A$0.20 each together with one option for every two shares subscribed, exercisable at A$0.20 on or before 30 November 2008. The issue was managed by Patersons Securities Limited and was over-subscribed.

The initial drilling programme is continuing at Zedex’s Enmore property in New South Wales, and results are expected to be released in late June. Exploration is planned to commence soon on Zedex’s Na Pai property in Vietnam.

The Board of Zedex would like to extend a warm welcome to new shareholders, and would like to thank long standing shareholders for their continued support. The Board is looking forward to an exciting new era as Zedex takes the next step towards becoming a leading player in the resources sector in the Asia Pacific region.
