Frenzs Free Range Egg Co egg-cited as it cracks new sectors of the US market
Frenzs New Zealand Free Range Eggs have broken into yet another US market, commencing direct exports of its free-range eggs to Texas, following on from shell-shattering successes in Hollywood.
The move not only paves the way for further expansion of North American operations but also complements the brand’s escalating reputation in California, with 15 million eggs exported directly to the US since the product first nestled into the market in 1992.
It was at the New Zealand run Trade and Enterprise convention in Anaheim in March 2006 that Texan buyers first approached Frenzs, and on the 6th of December the first shipment shall arrive. The company has aspirations for further states next year. Frenzs have also made inroads to Hong Kong thereby nurturing their ever-increasing reputation abroad.
What sets Frenzs Eggs apart from other eggs is not only are they free-range but are also certified to be organic, uncontaminated by genetic modification and free of harmful avian diseases, making them a unique offering in the US market.
Graeme Carrie, Managing Director of Frenzs, is thrilled that “a product which has become a Kiwi household name, synonymous with quality, prized for its exceptional taste and widely acclaimed for its unique organic, GM and disease free status, can now be savoured by an ever increasing segment of the American population.”
Consumers can be assured that Frenzs hens are certified as 100% genuine free range complying with strict conditions imposed by the New Zealand Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
But above all, it is the assurance of a disease free product that sets Frenzs eggs apart from the rest of the flock. By virtue of New Zealand’s remote location in the South Pacific, Frenzs’ hens are geographically isolated from serious strains of avian diseases, such as salmonella enteritidis. Regular flock inspections and egg testing executed to rigid agriquality standards. The shell of every egg is cleaned and sanitised to U.S.D.A bacteria-free standards.
This disease free status has made Frenzs eggs particularly attractive to the discerning chefs of high-end Beverly Hills restaurants who have relished the opportunity to once more concoct soft-cooked egg dishes without fear of contamination. The Beverly Hills Sunset Boulevard Hotel is one such example. Local US producers cannot provide this same disease-free assurance, giving Frenzs Eggs a unique competitive edge.
Frenzs Export Eggs are organic right from the traditional certified organic farming methods of rotational grazing on unsprayed pasture, down to the unique, natural hen feed, constituted of organic grains free of genetic modification. Frenzs’ rely on nature’s sunlight as a natural sanitizing agent meaning the hens can maintain optimal health via entirely natural means liberated from the harmful effects of pesticides and antibiotics.
Every aspect of the Frenzs’ egg-production operations, right down to the recyclable packaging, has been geared towards producing the most eco-friendly product possible, and this approach exemplifies New Zealand’s long established reputation as a clean, unspoilt haven.
New Zealand’s subtropical weather, high sunshine hours, clean ocean-fed airstreams and fresh, unpolluted rainfall make for perfect free-range conditions. Grazing on some of the country’s purest rural pastures, Frenzs’ hens lay eggs that encapsulate the best of the land’s natural goodness, combining superior taste with maximum health benefits and unrivalled product quality.
It is this unassuming, self-evident approach to excellence that has incubated the growing successes of Frenzs; a brand gathering clout as an iconic Kiwi product taking the best of New Zealand’s natural goodness to the world stage.
