Vodafone Stores to Sell ihug Products

Media release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
15 March 2007

Vodafone Stores to Sell ihug Products

From today, customers can sign up for any of ihug's products in Vodafone retail store throughout New Zealand.

"This is a major milestone for us in the move towards our 'mobile-plus' strategy and it's great news for customers who want a one-stop shop for all their communication needs," says Vodafone's GM for products and services, Kursten Shalfoon.

Vodafone's aim is to grow beyond the mobile-only market, with 10% of revenue received from mobile-plus elements within the next two years.

Customers will be able to sign up for mobile, broadband, home phone and calling services (both fixed line and mobile) in Vodafone's retail stores.

"Ihug's calling bundles have revolutionised the fixed-line calling market and customers have demanded the ability to sign up for services from both Vodafone and ihug. We're happy to provide them with that service," says Shalfoon.

Ihug's talk 0 lets customers make an unlimited number of calls from their home phone to their favourite Vodafone mobile for just $6 a month.
