Henderson Rentals Appoints New Manager

23 April 2008: New Zealand hire equipment leader, Hirepool, has appointed Mike Staal as manager of the new Henderson Rentals Branch in Wellington.

Staal, previously Operations Manager at Turners Auctions, has been in the commercial vehicle rental industry for eight years, starting as a customer services representative at NZ Rent a Car.

As Branch Manager Staal says his key tasks are to build relationships and procure new business. “I hope to establish a good foothold in the market and achieve phenomenal growth in the Wellington region,” he says.

Managing Director Tenby Powell says this appointment demonstrates the company’s commitment to create and maintain sustainable partnerships with customers, suppliers and staff. “I am confident Mike will play a significant role in the continued growth of the business. We’re delighted to have someone with his experience,” he says.
