Admark achieves best-ever result at the prestigious Pride in Print Awards over the weekend

Hamilton’s Admark Visual Imaging received their best-ever result at the prestigious Pride in Print Awards in Auckland over the weekend.

Although Admark has received numerous gold medals over the years since Pride in Print’s inception in 1993, it had not been nominated for the Pride in Print Supreme Award – until this weekend.

Admark’s entry for the Burger King Golden Compass backlit sign, won it a Supreme Award nomination and Best in Category (Digital) award. The same entry also won a gold medal in the Digital Printing – large format – A2 or larger category. Another gold was awarded in the same category for the Coles Myer coffee graphic.

Highly Commended awards were collected for the following:

• Lodestone Sauvignon Blanc label: Labels – self adhesive – wine category

• Burger King Transformers Backlit graphic – screen printing – less than 1.5m on any substrate category

• Coles Myer coffee graphic - digital printing – large format – A2 or larger category

Laurie Pilling, Admark’s Managing Director says, “we were absolutely thrilled with our result this year. It was particularly exciting to be nominated for the Supreme Award – that’s quite an achievement when you see the quality of work that was entered. In fact, on speaking to one of the convenors, I found we actually made it through to the top three for the Supreme Award. What is pleasing to me also, is that the quality and excellence in print we achieve was recognised across all three major printing technologies in our business: labels, digital and screen. We have invested heavily in technology over the past couple of years, and it is gratifying to see our printers utilising this technology to the best of its ability, and achieving absolute excellence for our clients”.
